Located at Belpre Market Square at 1804-C Washington Boulevard in Belpre, Ohio, Family Tree Dental was designed by Phillips Sekanick Architects as a modern dental practice focused on clinical efficiency, patient comfort, and a welcoming healthcare environment. The office occupies a prominent corner within the redeveloped Belpre Market Square, also designed by Phillips Sekanick Architects. The redevelopment transformed the former Washington Square Shopping Center and long-vacant retail space into a renewed commercial destination serving Belpre and the Mid-Ohio Valley—described in contemporary reporting as “an impressive upgrade.”

Family Tree Dental’s Belpre office is one of four locations serving southeastern Ohio and neighboring West Virginia. Phillips Sekanick Architects designed the interior to balance contemporary dental and healthcare requirements with a comfortable, patient-centered atmosphere. The program includes eight treatment rooms, a dental laboratory, digital X-ray and imaging space, two private offices, and efficiently organized reception, processing, and support areas.

Patient experience shaped the design, with varied seating and a bright, approachable waiting area complemented by an efficient clinical layout supporting staff and patient movement. Thoughtful space planning reinforces Family Tree Dental’s emphasis on comfort, convenience, and quality care.

The project demonstrates Phillips Sekanick Architects’ experience in dental office architecture, healthcare interior design, clinical space planning, tenant improvements, and adaptive reuse. Together with the surrounding Belpre Market Square redevelopment, it illustrates how coordinated architecture and interior design can transform underutilized retail property into a productive healthcare and commercial destination.
