O’Charleys – Strongsville

Establishing a new brand is always a challenge.  Having a brand stand out amongst the many competing options and opportunities is just as challenging. O’Charley’s, a relaxed, fast casual restaurant and bar operated by Covelli Enterprises decided to expand to the Cleveland market.  Understanding the need to create a new look with an updated image, Phillips|Sekanick Architects coordinated efforts to develop a new experience for both repeat clients and first time diners.

Challenge

The O’Charley’s brand has been around for a number of years, yet its market reach has been somewhat limited in the fast casual market.  With the decision to expand to the Cleveland market, Phillips|Sekanick Architects was approached to develop a new image to that would elevate the brand and create a space that was inviting and which would stand out in the marketplace.

Solution

Choosing to move away from a more traditional look, the new design incorporated a mixture of materials, finishes and textures.  Focusing on the introduction of O’Charley’s to the client, a new, crisp, color palette was selected to highlight the entry way, while providing a clean, uniform around the remainder of the perimeter.
