Bruce Sekanick AIA, OAA is a registered architect and the managing director for Phillips|Sekanick Architects, inc.|psainc. His responsibilities include design and design management, as well as, oversight of services delivery, technology, finance, human resources and planning. Bruce has served as president of AIA Eastern Ohio and AIA Ohio and was recently elected as a director to the national board of the American Institute of Architects.

Phillips|Sekanick Architects, inc. is under the direction and guidance of architects Kim Phillips, AIA, and Bruce W. Sekanick, AIA.
Bruce W. Sekanick, AIA, a native of New Kensington, PA joined the firm in 1984 after graduating from Kent State University, with both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Architecture degrees, as well as a certificate in Urban Studies and Planning. Obtaining his registration in 1989, Bruce became a firm principal in 1990.
Bruce is active in the Community and profession through his participation in various boards and committees, as well as the American Institute of Architects. He has served as President of both AIA Eastern Ohio and AIA Ohio, as well as the Family Service Association (now Community Solutions) and the Solace Center. Bruce maintains a certification with the NCARB and is registered in 18 states and Ontario, Canada. Bruce is the father of three children and lives in Weathersfield Township, with his wife Karen.
